The Greensboro Aquatic Center (GAC) will be a state-of-the-art facility featuring leading edge concepts in aquatic design and will offer Greensboro the opportunity to host high school and collegiate events, USA Swimming meets, and Master's swimming.  The scheduled opening date is Summer of 2011.

Once the GAC is operational, the City Swim Meet Championship will be relocated from the former Lindley Community Pool site to the new aquatic center.
